Egg Yolks: Wonder Food or Heart Killer?

I was going to write about a quick recipe for Torta just because for some reason a lot of people I know couldn’t hold the circular shape of the patties for some reason at the end result. It has something to do with separating the egg whites from the egg yolks. And then, I just had to stumble upon two articles.

The former article is very recent (as in some hours ago) as science found another studying. Luckily for me as a diabetic I only eat egg at least once or three times every two weeks. Granted, egg altogether, that includes the white and the yolk. As with every food item, eggs is another food item that you can only eat on moderation. In that way, you can get those special nutrients your body needs according to the latter article, but at the same time you wouldn’t be eating the egg yolk like you would be chain smoking.

I don’t think that you should compare eating egg yolks to smoking though. At least if you eat egg yolks in moderation you’d still be getting nutrients. Smoking on the other hand, even if it’s in moderation, will slowly kill you thanks to all that nicotine and other harmful chemicals.

I still love my eggs, thank you.
