My status w/ my current host is now deemed hopeless. I will be migrating servers once again— and soon. I just find it retarded that I can post via my BB and yet I can’t even access them via the web. :(

There is no Google+ mobile app for BBs. You have to go to their mobile site. And yet Android (expected) and iPhone do have separate mobile apps. Curse you, Google.

Today is Autumn.

Ninety-degrees and climbing.

Summer arrives late.

Pissed off at Facebook’s Latest Changes?

I wrote an entry at my portfolio blog. This includes where you can send your complaints directly to FB and a few browser plugins that enable users to take control on configuring their FB home page.

Otherwise, hook me up on Google+. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

Russia’s Flourishing Literary Culture

For all the bookworms out there, here is one home to one of the world’s most flourishing literary cultures: Russia. I’ve read quite a good number of Russian literature in the past (namely Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Boris Pasternak and Vladimir Nobokov1 ), but I’m also quite curious about their contemporary literature as well.

I loved The Idiot and War and Peace. I started reading Anna Karenina but haven’t had the time to finish it. And then there’s Lolita and Dr. Zhivago2.

After watching this feature from Russia Today3, I’ve added Moscow as one of the places I would want to visit, just for the literary works.

  1. Technically most of his best-selling works are in English, not to mention published in the U.S. before they came to Russia, but Lolita  was one complex novel. Still enjoyable to read though. []
  2. There’s a British-produced movie in the ’60s version of this book. Highly recommended if you don’t like reading books []
  3. English language Russian news broadcasting. []

It’s 4:11 am and until now I’m still awake. The night is so dang HOT, I can’t even go to sleep. I’ll just lie down and read the book I’m currently reading. That should help me go to sleep. Yeah. That’s it. :x   Dang. I want some iced tea. I want some iced Metromint Water. GAH! SAVE ME FROM THIS NIGHT HEAT—- THIS IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE 115+ F weather back in Palm Springs because there’s no breeze here. GRRRR…  :o
